Lower Aileron III

The plans state that the ailerons can be made up in 2 or 3 evenings :0| this doesn't seem to be the case for me. Due to the t-88 glue requiring around 24 hours to cure, one has to keep stopping and starting: glue-up a small section, leave to cure until next day, then repeat etc. But finally, I am beginning to see the light - the bottom aileron skins are on! Now they are starting to look like ailerons.

I expected the outer hinge nose ribs to be difficult to shape, due to them sitting in the middle of the taper [tip rib to first main outer rib tapers]. This process turned out OK, I simply bridged a 12 inch ruler over the tip rib and the main rib [function: straight edge], and sanded down the hinge tip ribs until the ruler stopped 'rocking' on the nose ribs.

The spider looks like an ugly mother'. But I haven't got a clue if it's dangerous or not. If anyone knows, please let me know if I need to be wearing a suit of armor or not.
