Right Wing XII
Nailers doing their job...
Trimming off the surplus...

I glued the leading edge ply on to the ribs with T-88. The fit was really nice with no stress any where. When attaching all the nailers I ensured that the whole wing was sitting flat and clamped on the bench and check the trammeling one more time for squareness, since attaching the ply at this stage makes the whole wing very stiff and rigid - if I had a slight twist in the wing, it would be now a permanent twist due to the bracing effect of the glued plywood.
Most of the nails in the nailing strips came out, except for about 8. These I just trimmed flush and sunk them in with a nail punch. Routering off the excess ply with a flush trimmer was pretty painless and quick. I then applied 2 coats of System3 Clear-Coat epoxy.
final clear-coat - looks nice...
