Intro to VOR

Today was pattern work and some epxosure to VOR. It wasn't as bad I thought it was going to be. Basically tune in to the VOR frequency, turn the dial until a TO indicator shows, then keep turning until the needle resides dead center, then note the bearing at the top [330deg], this basically was my heading in order to get onto the 330 radial.
