Today was back to the grindstone of pattern work, which I kind of missed during the few weeks break I had taken. My problematic short fields were little easier to perform it seemed in the Piper. - maybe this was because there was no X wind to compound things.....

I was hoping to be flying labor day weekend, but Tracy had to go out of town for a family reunion. Oh well.

After the lesson. I go to talking with the AP of the Piper, and he mentioned he knew a skybolt builder in the area..I was surpised, and pleased because that's what I am building. He called him for me, and the guy drove down to the hangar so I could follow him back to go see his skybolt. Cool.
